If anyone is still interested
The ITC just got in the 2003 Christmas Concert CD, partially thanks to jilrani
's and my efforts. You can now order them if you were a performer and they are $3.00! Current Mood: ecstatic

We got a flier in the mail about Xmas concert tickets. Is anyone in choir and can tell us some of the songs that might be there? Also, was anyone in here a part of the 2003 concert? Current Mood: curious

trip to cland
and I took a trip up to campus this weekend. It was the wedding of deutschesilke
, and we were invited to the reception. Groundbreaking on the new center is underway - taking up a whole bunch of the sidewalks and blocking off the south exits to Knutson. It'll be interesting to see what it looks like by the next time we go up there. Current Mood: happy

I've been reading this book, the "Cobber Chronicle", purchased in college by my husband, calmingsilence
. It has a ton of random things that are quite interesting. For brevity's sake, they're behind ( this cut.Collapse )
Hope you enjoyed the trivia!!!

Today was rainy and grey...but we've had so much pretty weather, whoa man...i guess into everyone's life a little rain must fall Current Mood: amused
My tummy hurts and I wanna go to bed, so I leave you with some thoughts:
It's raining. I walked from Livedalen to East just so I could frolic with friends in the rain. On the way there I ended up facing the international center and my heart thumped. I'm so excited to live there. Nerdy? Well, yes.
Spoke with Aiden in Romanian. Nerdy? Hardcore. Did it make me look cool? You bet it did.De ce pling inimale?
And, finally, if you haven't bothered to check out how cool Fargo really is, check this
I've decided to share this with other cobbers, so enjoy and it's x-posted to puffyamiyumi

Ok, I'm choosing classes for next semester, but I want to know-
1. Who is the best prof to take Religion 100 from?
2. For my "Foundations and Premises of Civilization" core, I don't want to take history, is philosophy or scandinavian studies better?

This weekend was the alumni meet. I got to see some old track friends, and actually threw pretty well! I beat all the Cobbers at shot, including alumni (not include the Dragon who is now coaching the throw crew). My mark wasn't bat - 31'9" - which is close to what I threw, so for not practicing or lifting like a thrower, that's pretty good. Weight kind of sucked - I was too much of a lightweight to throw it in college, and now that I've lost weight and am not lifting like a thrower and am not used to the technique, it throws me around the circle instead of the other way around. I could still control two-spin throws, though, which was good news, but my mark was way down. On Friday when we were running, they were having a gymnastics meet. I realize that they're guilding up a lot of momentum, but I was surprised at how many girls couldn't stick landings. I'm not just talking about little steps either, but huge ones, or somersaults off the mat. As a thrower, I build up momentum too, and I have to control it b/c my throw doesn't count if I can't stick at the toe board - and everyone has to land, why isn't it something they don't work on more? Current Mood: pensive

Anyone else go to the Christmas concerts this year? Any thoughts? It's definitely different just sitting in the audience instead of being involved, either as performer or usher or child care.... Current Mood: sick

Ok, so I noticed on the icon of puffyamiyumi
the phrase "And how!" I have also seen the phrase in the A&E section (ah, fond memories!) of The Concordian
and am wondering if it's a new Cobberism, similar to "You rock my face off" (debuted when I was a frosh). Any help? Current Mood: sleepy
